Mother of the year

Mother of the year 1

In a zoo in California , a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

Mother of the year 2
The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother’s cubs, perhaps she would improve.

Mother of the year 3
After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veter inarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only orphans” that could be found quickly, were a litter of weaner pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger

Mother of the year 4
Would they become cubs or pork chops?????????????

Take a look…….. you won’t believe your eyes!!!

Who eats a piglet of course she's gonna let them get big then she's gonna eat those pigs

That's ubercute. Just wait 'till the zoo decides to remove them from her, though - or a tigerhides falls off one of the little snacklets.

Totally false. Check out Snopes.com for the truth. The Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Thailand thinks it's cute to put different animals together. A quote from Snopes reads "The mixture of tiger and piglets depicted in the images above therefore was not something undertaken for functional reasons, but rather it's a common form of visual entertainment provided by the zoo for the amusement of its visitors." Sick stuff if you ask me.

I love it when people post stuff without checking to see if it's real. Snopes is your friend!

Sooooooooo sooooooooooo cute

Please get it right. This has been on the web for so long that even Snopes has a reference. It's a zoo in Asia where they do this for the entertainment of their patrons.

That's a completely fabricated story. Jackasses.

any of you guys ever heard of fiction? so what if the story isn't true!!

Anonymous said...

False or not its still pretty impressive sticking what could be 'snack time' in with the tiger

Anonymous said...

wow...thats flippin' sweet

Fake or not, it's still good to know that a mother's sense of caring not only extends to species besides homo sapien, but from many different kinds of mothers to many different kinds of newborns, as well.

a little fact checking goes a long way.

shut the fuck up it's cute...who cares if it's not true

Anonymous said...

mabay some one should think about this.
That asian zoo put them together for entertainment.
While this zoo did it out of trying to keep thier animals happy.

Do These remind anyone of pigs in a blanket? That mama tiger is just letting them fatten up before she gobbles em.

Anonymous said...

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... Im so linking this

hehe, cute. dont care if its not true, good of the zoo to do this, very interesting.

Is it REALLY needed to post snopes twenty times over? We get it. Story's not true. It is impressive, though, that they got the pigs and the tiger, and apparantly alot of other animals as well, to get past the primal instinct. My only problem is, quite possibly, they did this using violence whenever the tiger reacted the way (s)he reacted the way (s)he had been brought up to know as being right. (Cute tiger costumes..)

i wish i was right there laying beside dat tiger milking her utters jk. but awwww how sweet those baby pigskins are :)

Maybe the tiger was Jewish and the pigs are not kosher.

Anonymous said...

Mmmm...They look delicious!

Anonymous said...

omg.......i almost cried when i saw this it was soooo cute.

Anonymous said...

i hope they have a story next week about how the mother tiget ate the freakin lil piglets

Anonymous said...

ok bit disturbed by the last few posts. but cute story- true or not. luv the pics :)

Anonymous said...

christ, who gives a fuck if the story isnt true. its the pics that people want. and to any morons that think this is cruel, why dont you go stop the poachers that are wiping out bengal, south chinese and other tiger subspecies instead of lambasting a zoo, in whose long term interest it is to keep this species alive. almost every western zoo and a growing number of eastern zoos are working tirelessly on breeding programs for these animals, so whatever raises awareness of these animals is good

these tigers are from siracha tiger zoo in thailand not canada..

Thats weird.

way weridd

but cuute!

Anonymous said...

i think that those piggies are gonna have a good feast :)

Anonymous said...

the story is FALSE but the pictures are REAL. i went on vacation to Thailand this christmas and i saw THIS very thing at a zoo there. The tiger doesnt know those are piglets because the cloth pelts theyre wearing have been sprayed with tiger scent. At an adjacent room is a tigers cubs with a mother piglet. The zoo also has multiple rooms each with a golden retriever pair, a piglet and a tiger cub.

snopes.com is a big ball of lies!!!
check this out: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/ups.asp

Everybody knows that this is true. Use FedEx or die. My cousin got mailbombed after buying a cookbook on eBay.

The story is not true. Those who do not care that the story is not true are idiots.
