Cal Orko - 294 Species Of Dinosaurs Tracked

Cal Orcko (Voice Quechua Cal Urqu, 'Hill of Cal') is a paleontological site, found at the quarry at a factory of cement, in Bolivia (FANCESA), department of Chuquisaca. It is the site with traces of dinosaurs in the world, as it contains over 5,000 tracks of 294 species of dinosaurs.

The discovery is an enormous contribution to history and science, revealing data heretofore unknown about the end of the period Cretaceous and the beginning of the Tertiary, about 66 million years, thus documenting the high diversity of dinosaurs better than any other place in the world.

Until its discovery, the largest and most important site was Khjoda-Pil-ata, in Turkmenistan, and others in Portugal, Great Britain, Spain and Switzerland. But as Cal Urqu none, since it is several times larger than either of them elsewhere in the world only up to 220 tracks were only two species.

Iron age gold coins found by a treasure hunter

A treasure hunter has found modern Britain's biggest haul of prehistoric gold coins - using a metal detector.

The collection of 824 gold staters was found in a broken pottery jar buried in a field near Wickham Market, Suffolk.

Jude Plouviez, of the Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service, said the coins dated from 40BC to AD15.

Their value when in circulation had been estimated at a modern equivalent of between £500,000 and £1million.

This is the largest collection of gold coins from that period ever found in modern Britain.

Human skin book bears image of hanged

A 17th century book believed to be bound in the skin of a priest executed for treason appears to bear a "spooky" image of his face on the cover, auctioneers said today.

The account of the death of Gunpowder Plot conspirator Father Henry Garnet is described by experts as "rare and macabre".

Sid Wilkinson, from Wilkinson's Auctioneers in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, who will be selling the book on Sunday, said he could see the Jesuit priest's face peering out from the cover.

He said: "It's a little bit spooky because the front of the book looks like it has the face of a man on it, which is presumed to be the victim's face."

Lot number 181 is so unusual that there is no reserve price attached to it.

Body after 122 years

Her body is still fresh until today and if you ever go to Lourdes , France you can see her body in the church in Lourdes . Her body does not decay because during her lifetime, the mother of Jesus would always appear to her and give messages and advice to all mankind on the right way to live on this earth.
